We provide year round FREE educational and social support programming. We come along side the work of perinatal and pediatrice health care providers, offering nurturing environments for education and support. We seek to close the gaps in the maternal health care system by providing safe opportunities for women to gather

What is "Maternal Health"?

According to the World Health Organization, "Maternal health refers to the health of women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. While motherhood is often a positive and fulfilling experience, for too many women it is associated with suffering."

Can I come to The Motherhood Café if I don't have a baby?

Yes! All women should attend The Motherhood Café. We strongly encourage participation in pregnancy.

Do you have volunteer opportunities?

Yes, we have volunteer opportunities for college students, women in childbearing year, and beyond. Please share you interest by completing our volunteer form: here.

Do you adhere to a certain "philosophy"?

No, we do not adhere to a certain philosophy. We believe in "nurturing the mother to grow the child" by providing unbiased education on all topics. We believe in the ability of every woman to find her truth. We believe in the power of informed decision making.
